Referral Programme Terms

These terms apply to the Larpify referral programme (the “Programme”). They add to our Terms of Use, which still apply in full, including what the Service may and may not be used for. If the two conflict on something about the Programme, these terms win.

1. Who can take part

Any Larpify account in good standing can share a referral link. Suspended accounts, and accounts we have removed from the Programme, earn nothing while that lasts.

2. Your link and how referrals are counted

• Someone counts as your referral when they create a new Larpify account within 30 days of opening your link, in the same browser. If they open more than one person’s link, the last one counts.
• A referral is recorded once, when the account is created, and cannot be added later.
• Referrals to your own account, or to an address that is evidently yours, are not recorded.

3. What counts toward a tier

Tiers are reached on two measures together: how many of your referrals have made a payment, and how much your referrals have paid in total, in Australian dollars, after refunds and chargebacks. Amounts are what was actually charged, after any discount; free months and 100%-off codes count as nothing paid. The current tiers are:

• Bronze: 1 paying referral who have paid A$20.00 in total. Reward: A$5.00 account credit.
• Silver: 3 paying referrals who have paid A$60.00 in total. Reward: A$15.00 account credit.
• Gold: 5 paying referrals who have paid A$150.00 in total. Reward: A$30.00 account credit.
• Affiliate: 10 paying referrals who have paid A$300.00 in total. Reward: 20% cash commission.
• Partner: 25 paying referrals who have paid A$1,000.00 in total. Reward: 30% cash commission.

Each tier’s reward is given once. A reward already given is not taken back if a later refund drops you below that tier.

4. The discount for people you refer

A new account created through your link gets 10% off its first payment, applied automatically at checkout. Checkout applies one discount per purchase: if a site-wide sale or a personal promo code would save more, that applies instead, and the discounts are never combined. It does not apply again after the first payment.

5. Account credit

Credit is added to your Larpify billing account and comes off your future Larpify invoices automatically. It has no cash value, cannot be transferred or exchanged for money, and is not refunded if you close your account. A Lifetime purchase has no future invoices, so Lifetime members cannot spend credit; the tiers still lead them to commission.

6. Affiliate commission

• Reaching an affiliate tier makes you eligible to apply. You apply with your payout details and by accepting these terms, and we may approve or decline at our discretion.
• Once approved, you earn the stated percentage of what your referrals pay from then on. Payments made before approval do not earn commission.
• Commission becomes payable 30 days after the payment it was earned on, once that payment can no longer be routinely refunded. Commission on a payment that is later refunded or charged back is reversed.
• We pay out manually, in Australian dollars, once your payable commission is at least A$50.00, to the method you gave us. You are responsible for giving us accurate details, for any fees your provider charges you, and for any tax on what you earn. We may ask for information we reasonably need before paying (for example, to meet tax or anti-fraud obligations) and may hold a payout until we have it.

7. What you must not do

• Refer yourself, or create accounts to refer, through any means.
• Send spam, or share your link anywhere that does not allow it.
• Bid on “Larpify” or confusingly similar terms in search advertising, or present yourself as Larpify.
• Offer people cash, cashback or other inducements to sign up, other than the discount the Programme gives them.
• Promote the Service for anything our Terms of Use prohibit, including passing fictional screens off as real accounts, balances or revenue.
• Make misleading claims about the Service. Where advertising rules require it, say that you earn from referrals.

8. Reversals, removal and changes

We may decline or void any referral, withhold or reverse any reward or commission, and remove any account from the Programme, if we reasonably believe these terms or our Terms of Use were broken. We may change the tiers, rewards or rates, or end the Programme, by updating this page; changes do not affect rewards already given, or commission that was already payable, unless it was earned in breach of these terms.

9. Relationship

Taking part does not make you our employee, agent or partner, and you may not make promises on our behalf.
