Privacy Policy
Last updated 22 August 2026
This policy explains how Larpify (“we”, “us”) handles personal information when you use larpify.me and the apps we host (the “Service”). Larpify is a paid tool for creating fictional wallet, store and payouts screens for entertainment, mockups and props. It is not a bank, wallet, store or payments processor.
Who we are
The Service is operated from Australia. Questions about this policy: [email protected] or [email protected].
What we collect
- Account data: email address, and the display name or business details you type into your profile.
- Content you save: brand profile fields and per-app presets (fictional figures, names and layout choices). These are make-believe numbers for your screens, not real financial records.
- Billing data: we do not store full card numbers. Stripe processes payments and sends us a customer id, subscription or payment status, plan, and period end so we can turn the watermark off for paid accounts.
- Technical data: cookies needed to keep you signed in, and hashed IP addresses used only to rate-limit abuse of public forms.
- Messages you send us (support or abuse reports), if you choose to write to us.
We sign you in with an email magic link. We do not collect a password. We do not currently offer sign-in with Google or other social providers.
How we use it
- Create and keep your account, and sync your saved setups across devices.
- Decide whether the watermark is shown (paid vs unpaid).
- Process checkout, refunds, plan changes and cancellation through Stripe.
- Enforce the acceptable use rules in our Terms of Use, including suspensions.
- Reply to support mail and legal requests we are required to answer.
- Keep the Service secure and working.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use it to train public AI models.
Legal bases (where GDPR or similar rules apply)
We process account and billing data to perform the contract you make with us when you create an account or buy a plan. We process security and abuse data as a legitimate interest in running a safe Service. Where we need consent (for optional marketing mail, if we send any), we will ask, and you can withdraw it.
Who we share with
- Stripe, for payments and the customer portal. See Stripe’s privacy policy.
- Supabase, for authentication and the database that stores profiles, presets and entitlements. See Supabase’s privacy policy.
- Hosting and email delivery providers needed to run the Service.
- Authorities when the law requires it, or when we are investigating use of the Service to defraud someone.
Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep your session after you click the sign-in link. We do not use advertising cookies. You can block cookies in your browser; the Service will not stay signed in if you do.
How long we keep it
Account and saved setups last until you delete the account, or we close it under the Terms. Billing records follow Stripe’s retention and tax rules. Rate-limit hashes are short-lived window counters. Server logs are kept only as long as we need them for security and debugging.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict some processing. Email [email protected] from the address on the account. If we cannot verify it is you, we may ask for a little more. You can also export your setups from the apps as a file, and you can close billing in the Stripe portal.
If you are in the EEA or UK and unhappy with our response, you can complain to your local data protection authority. In Australia, you can contact the OAIC.
Children
The Service is for people 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you think we have, email [email protected] and we will delete it.
International transfers
Our hosts and processors may store data outside your country (including the United States and the EU). We use providers that offer standard contractual clauses or an equivalent safeguard where those rules apply.
Changes
We will post updates on this page and change the date above. If a change is material, we will also try to email the address on the account.
